This department deals with disorders and accidental injuries of the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves. Trauma is the most common cause of hospital admissions worldwide and the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology plays a lead role in the treatment and rehabilitation of all types of trauma patients, fractures and sports related injuries. This department also deals with all types of birth defects and cancers relating to bones, muscles and joints. JBFH Knee Center led by Dr. Sanjoy Sinha provides specialised care for knee injuries, sports related and age related disorders of the knee joint.
